UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State field hockey team announced its 2010 spring schedule on Wednesday, which includes four game dates, three at home. After traveling to James Madison for a tournament, the Nittany Lions host Bucknell and Lock Haven along with their annual alumni game.
The squad is set to face top competition this spring, starting on Saturday, Apr. 3 at James Madison where the Lions face National Semifinalist Virginia along with NCAA Tournament participant American and the host Dukes. All three teams were consistently ranked in the national polls last season.
Penn State returns home to the Penn State Field Hockey Complex on Tuesday, Apr. 13 against rival Bucknell at 6 p.m. The Lions remain home the following Thursday (Apr. 22), hosting another local rival and 2009 NEC Champion Lock Haven.
