Penn State's T.J. Howe Tied for Fifth After Two Rounds at Windon Memorial, Nittany Lions in 11th

GLENVIEW, Ill. - Penn State men's golf team improved play by 13 strokes in the second round to finish day one of the Windon Memorial in 11th. The Nittany Lions carded rounds of 303-290 (593) placing them 21 strokes behind first place team, Michigan who shot four-over par.

Senior T.J. Howe (Osceola, Pa.) led the Nittany Lions shooting one-over par to finish the day tied for fifth. Howe jumped from T-21 to T-5 in just 18 holes posting rounds of 73-70 (143). Howe currently sits 3 strokes behind first-place Michigan's Lion Kim, 69-71 (140).

Freshman Michael Miller (Brewster, N.Y.) also improved between rounds jumping eight positions and finishing two-over par. Miller placed tied for 13 after shooting rounds of 73-71 (144).

Sophomores Anthony DeGol (Hollidaysburg, PA) and Ernesto Marin (Miami, Fla.) finished tied for 62 shooting rounds of 79-74 (153) and 78-75 (153), respectively. Senior Jason Cohan (Wayne, Pa.) is tied for 89 with a two-round total of 160 (79-81).
