A new and improved promotional schedule includes a variety of theme nights, giveaways and much more. Promotions consistent throughout the season are $1 hot dogs every Friday night. Fans can purchase a special All-Weekend pass for only $10, which grants admission to all three days (and four games) of home-opening weekend against Hofstra (Mar. 26-28). The home opener on Friday features the first of five $1 hot dog nights while 2010 Season Team Posters will be given away all weekend as well.

Another special this year are season ticket holder ticket exchanges for a pair of crucial Big Ten series, against Northwestern (April) and Iowa (May) - Nittany Lion Basketball (Apr. 10 & May 8), Lady Lion Basketball (Apr. 11 & May 7) and the State College Spikes (Apr. 9 & May 9).

The first of many theme games is THON Night on Apr. 13 against Pittsburgh. A percentage of all ticket sales will go towards THON, which is part of a student-run philanthropy at Penn State whose proceeds benefit pediatric cancer treatment and research.

Other highlights include Greek Night (Apr. 20 - Duquesne), Code Blue (Apr. 21 - Mount St. Mary's), Faith Night (Apr. 27 - La Salle) and Heritage Night (Apr. 30 - Michigan State).

Some of the season's most anticipated promotions come in May with a Wounded Warrior game on May 1 against Michigan State with proceeds from the day benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project that raises money and awareness for injured service men and women. The following day features "Honoring True Blue" to recognize all police, fire and rescue men and women in the Central Pennsylvania Region.

A sampling of the many planned giveaways are: mini stadium replica (May 2 - Michigan State), trading cards (May 9 - Iowa), Jordan Steranka figurine (May 20 - Michigan), scoreboard picture frame (May 21 - Michigan) and rally towel (May 22 - Michigan). In addition, the first of two blue and white shaker giveaways will come against intrastate rival Pittsburgh on Apr. 13.
