NORFOLK, Va.; October 24, 2010 - NORFOLK, Va.; October 24, 2010 -- Penn State sophomore Petra Januskova (Ottawa, Canada) earned a runner-up finish at the ITA Women's Tennis Atlantic Regional.
Januskova fell in a tough finals match to the tournament's top seed, Marshall's Michaela Kissel. Januskova battled in the first set but eventually fell to Kissel, 7-5, 6-0.
Head Coach Dawna Denny said it was a good tournament for the team and that she is looking for the Nittany Lions to continue improving.
The Nittany Lions went 14-9 as a team throughout the weekend in singles and doubles play.
