UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., December 17, 2010 - From the creators of the Emmy Award-winning "Penn State Football Story," a special 2010 edition commemorates and chronicles Joe Paterno's 400th victory and profiles many of the team's standout plays and players of the 2010 campaign.
Penn State won four of its final six games to secure its fifth New Year's Day bowl berth in the past six years. The 18 members of the senior class have earned a 38-13 career record over the past four seasons, ranking among the nation's best marks.
The 2010 Penn State Football Highlights DVD includes all the great moments from the Nittany Lions' historic comeback win over Northwestern and the Beaver Stadium post-game celebration of Paterno becoming the first major college coach with 400 victories. The DVD also includes highlights from the Nittany Lions' thrilling 41-31 primetime win over Michigan, as Evan Royster became the school's career rushing leader, and the victory over Indiana at FedEx Field, as Nittany Nation descended on Washington, D.C.
The DVD also will include several features on current squad members, that included visits with family members and childhood friends in their hometowns. Among the Nittany Lions that are featured are All-Big Ten defensive tackle and co-captain Ollie Ogbu, first-team All-American Stefen Wisniewski and Royster, who joined Wisniewski as a three-time All-Big Ten honoree.
