UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Student tickets to No. 2 Penn State's dual meet against No. 10 Iowa will be available beginning Friday, Jan. 28. A limited number of free student tickets will be made available for dual meet, which is already sold out. The Nittany Lions and Hawkeyes tangle on Sunday, Jan. 30, at 2 p.m. in Rec Hall.
The free tickets can be picked up between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 28th, at the Rec Hall ticket office on a first come, first serve basis. There is a limit of one ticket per student and individuals must have a valid Penn State student ID to receive one and the tickets are for a specially designated student section. Student ticket holders coming to the dual on Sunday must present both their ticket and their valid ID to gain entry to the event (students who do not show both the ticket and the ID will not be admitted). There will be a designated student entry to Rec Hall that evening to facilitate access as well.
The Nittany Lions are 11-0 on the year, their best start (no losses or ties) since the team went 12-0 in 1971-72, heading into this weekend's dual meets. With the Iowa dual sold out, tickets are going fast for Penn State's final two home duals of the season. The Nittany Lions host No. 15 Illinois on Feb. 11 and No. 3 Wisconsin on Feb. 18. Fans wishing to purchase single dual meet tickets can place their orders by calling 814-865-5555 or visit the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office. The box office is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Ticket pricing is $8 for adults and $5 for youth, and there will be a limit of eight tickets per order. Group sales are also available. The 2010-11 Penn State wrestling season is presented by the Family Clothesline. All Penn State events will once again air live on Forever Broadcasting's WRSC (1390 AM) and WSQV (92.1 FM).
