Texas Roadhouse Fundraising Invitation (present to server)
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Penn State Lady Lions (16-5, 5-2) is pairing with Texas Roadhouse in State College to fundraise for the 2011 WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State. Thursday, Jan. 27 is the first of five WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State fundraiser nights at the Texas Roadhouse, located 1885 Waddle Road. Guests will raise money for the 2011 Pink Zone at Penn State by simply printing an invitation and presenting it to their server between 4-10 p.m. on the designated nights.
Every guest who arrives at Texas Roadhouse on the fundraiser night with an invitation will be supporting the cause. The Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of your entire check to WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State upon presentation of their invitation to their server. Pink Zone at Penn State nights at Texas Roadhouse will be Thursday, Jan. 27, Thursday, Feb. 3, Thursday, Feb. 10, Thursday, Feb. 17 and Thursday, Feb. 24.
Official Pink Zone t-shirts, adult and youth sizes, will be available from 5:30-8 p.m. on Pink Zone fundraising nights. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase chances for the Lady Lion Game-Worn Pink Jersey drawing, which will take place on Monday, Feb. 28. The chances are $2 for one chance and three chances for $5. All 11 game-worn Lady Lion Pink Zone jerseys will be part of the chance drawing.
The 2011 WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State will take place on Sunday, Feb. 27 at noon as the Lady Lions take on Northwestern in the Bryce Jordan Center. The game can be seen on the Big Ten Network. Last year, the Lady Lions donated more than $80,000 for breast cancer causes. This year's fundraising efforts will benefit the Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition, the Kay Yow Cancer Fund and J.C. After facing Illinois Thursday in Champaign, the Lady Lions return home to face Ohio State on Sunday, Jan. 30 at 2 p.m. for National Girls and Women in Sports Day. There will be a pre-game all-sports clinic from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in South Gym for boys and girls, who will get a free ticket to the game. Fans are encouraged to wear white to the Ohio State game and the first 1,500 fans will get a white Penn State t-shirt. 2010-11 Lady Lion Basketball Single-game tickets are available by calling 814-863-1000 or 800-NITTANY. The PNC Flex Books are available again this year for $99. The Flex Book gives fans 12 vouchers, including one for the Coaches vs. Cancer game and one for the Pink Zone game, that can be redeemed for Nittany Lion and Lady Lion Basketball tickets in any combination.
