UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The ninth-ranked Penn State men's volleyball team (7-3) is back at Rec Hall this weekend with matches against EIVA foes Rutgers-Newark and Princeton. The Nittany Lions take on the Scarlet Raiders at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11 and the Tigers on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 4 p.m. Both matches will be in the South Gym of Rec Hall.

Penn State Preview
The Nittany Lions are coming off a 3-0 setback to No. 6 Ohio State on Wednesday, Feb. 9. Redshirt junior Joe Sunder (Greensburg, Pa.) led the Nittany Lions with 4.33 kills per set. Setter Edgardo Goas (San Juan, Puerto Rico) averaged 12.00 assists per set and senior libero Dennis Del Valle (Toa Alta, Puerto Rico) had 3.00 digs per set.
Penn State vs. Rutgers-Newark
The Nittany Lions are 79-24-1 all-time against the Scarlet Raiders. In 2010, the Nittany Lions hosted Rutgers-Newark on Feb. 5 and swept the Scarlet Raiders. However, Penn State traveled to Rutgers-Newark on March 27 and suffered a 3-1 setback.
Penn State vs. Princeton
Penn State owns a 38-2 record in the series against the Tigers. The Lions and Tigers met three times in 2010 with Penn State sweeping Princeton each time, including in the EIVA Finals on May 1 to advance to the NCAA National Semifinals.
What's Next?
Penn State remains at home to host Mount Olive and Lees McRae on Feb. 18-19. The Lions face Mount Olive on Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. and Lees McRae at 3 p.m. on Feb. 19. The Nittany Lions embark on a six-match road trip beginning with Saint Francis on Feb. 23.
