UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The 11th-ranked Penn State men's volleyball team (11-3, 4-0 EIVA) travels to nearby Saint Francis for a midweek matchup. Action is set for 7 p.m.

Penn State Preview
The Nittany Lions improved to 11-3 overall with a 3-1 victory against Mount Olive and a 3-2 win against Lees McRae on Feb. 18-19. Sophomore Tom Comfort (Orchard Park, N.Y.) led the Lions with 4.12 kills per set on .441 hitting, while junior Ryan Wolf (York, Pa.) was second on the team with 3.00 kills per set. Redshirt junior Edgardo Goas (San Juan, Puerto Rico) tallied 10.00 assists per set and led the team with 1.38 blocks per set. Senior Dennis Del Valle (Toa Alta, Puerto Rico) averaged 2.50 digs per set and sophomore Nick Turko (Lewisberry, Pa.) was second on the team with 1.25 blocks per set.

Penn State vs. Saint Francis
Penn State is 27-0 all-time against the Red Flash. This will be the second meeting between the Nittany Lions and the Red Flash in 2011. Saint Francis was Penn State's home opened on Jan. 21. PSU came away with a 3-1 victory. Redshirt junior Joe Sunder (Greensburg, Pa.) led all players in the match with 18 kills on .429 hitting. Penn State hit .376 against SFU.

Scouting the Red Flash
Saint Francis is 7-5 overall this season with a 2-3 record in EIVA play. The Red Flash is on a three-match winnin streak, having defeated Harvard, Springfield and Mount Olive each in four sets. SFU's last loss came on Feb. 12 in a 3-0 setback to Rutgers-Newark. The Red Flash will head back on the road this weekend having completed an 11-match home stand.

What's Next?
Penn State remains on the road traveling to George Mason on Feb. 26, Springfield (3/5), UCLA (3/9), UC Santa Barbara (3/11) and Long Beach (3/12).
