University Park, Pa. - The second match of Sunday's men's tennis doubleheader against the Dayton Flyers (1-8) has been canceled. Penn State will now make up the previously postponed match from February 5 against coach Todd Doebler's alma mater, Bloomsburg (2-1).
The Huskies, led by coach Marty Coyne, enters 2011 fresh off of a 10-9 season that saw them earn a Division II NCAA Regional berth. Bloomsburg returns an experienced roster led by Centre County native, junior Ricky Dove. The teams have met 34 times previously with the Nittany Lions taking 30 of 34 in the series.
The Nittany Lions will return to Big Ten Conference play next weekend, traveling to Illinois to take on the Illni Friday, March 25 at 4 p.m. and to Iowa to face the Hawkeyes Sunday, March 27 at 11 a.m.
