Penn State (6-5) was set to play host Georgia Tech at the Twin Creeks Softball Complex on Saturday beginning around 4:00 p.m. followed by a contest against Jacksonville State at 6:00 p.m.

The Jacksonville State game will not be made up but the Georgia Tech game will be postponed to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday The Nittany Lions' regularly scheduled 9:00 a.m. game vs. Rhode Island will now be played at 1:30 p.m. Both matchups are on Field 1 at Twin Creeks. On Friday, Penn State captured two clutch 1-0 victories over Massachusetts and Miami. Penn State's Kasie Hatfield (Lutz, Fla.) matched Bell's effort with a solo blast of her own in the sixth inning of a scoreless game against the RedHawks. Lisa Akamine (Escondido, Calif.) provided the lift in the circle for PSU going the distance to extend her scoreless earned run streak to 30.1 innings.
