Sunder Named EIVA Player of the Week

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - For the second week in a row, a member of the Penn State men's volleyball team has been named the EIVA Player of the Week. Redshirt junior Joe Sunder (Greensburg, Pa.) was named this week's conference player of the week for the Tait Division. This is Sunder's second honor of the season.

The Nittany Lions had a low key week with only a match at Springfield on March 5. Sunder guided Penn State to a 3-1 victory on the road to extend the team's winning streak to seven consecutive matches. Sunder put down a match-high 16 kills on .464 hitting. He also put up two blocks and had an ace, while contributing one assist and two digs. Sunder totaled 18 points in the match.

What's Next?
The Nittany Lions remain on the road for three more matches, traveling to UCLA on March 9, before taking on UC Santa Barbara and Long Beach State on March 11-12.
