UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., - One of the highlights of the Penn State sports calendar, Blue-White Weekend presented by AAA, gets underway Friday with the Blue-White football game as the centerpiece for numerous activities throughout the weekend, including some new events, in and around Beaver Stadium.

Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in Beaver Stadium. As in previous years, there will be no admission or game day parking fee for the Blue-White game. Stadium parking lots will open at 8:00 a.m. and stadium Gates A and B will open for fans at 12:00 p.m. The popular autograph session with football student-athletes is from 12:30-1:15 p.m. on the field.

Due to the anticipated rain on Saturday, events are subject to change. Fans attending the Blue-White Game are encouraged to leave their RVs at home this weekend due to the saturated fields that have reduced the number of available parking spaces around Beaver Stadium.

Fans attending the Blue-White Game and related activities should be aware of some changes to gameday parking to due saturated fields and the forecast for rain on Saturday, as well as other events. Traffic management staff and parkers will direct cars to the lots closest to the stadium. Fans are asked to please follow as directed to the closest available parking lot.

The overnight RV parking lot (Lots 19-20) opened Friday at 8 a.m. and the cost is $60 for the weekend (cash only).

Numerous events will be held during Blue-White Weekend to celebrate the 125th season of Penn State Football. Among the newer events are a Penn State Idol contest (finals Friday, 7:00 p.m.) and a parade on Curtin Road featuring four high school bands (Saturday, 10:45 a.m.).
