UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; - Phil Steele's College Football has selected six Penn Staters to its Mid-season All-Big Ten teams, led by co-captain Devon Still (Wilmington, Del.), who was named a season team All-American.
A senior defensive tackle, Still recently was named to ESPN.com's Mid-season All-America Team. He was named first team All-Big Ten by Phil Steele's Still is second in the Big Ten with 10.0 tackles for loss for the No. 22 Nittany Lions (6-1, 3-0).
Four Nittany Lions were selected second team Mid-season All-Big Ten by Phil Steele's: safety Drew Astorino (Edinboro), defensive end Jack Crawford (Longport, N.J.), wide receiver Derek Moye (Rochester) and tailback Silas Redd (Norwalk, Conn.). Safety Nick Sukay (Mount Pleasant) earned third team honors.
