Heather Harman, who is projected to be defender at the collegiate level, will join the Nittany Lions following her career at Milton High School in Alpharetta, Ga. A three-year starter in the midfield for the Eagles, she was a key part of their 2010 and 2011 state championship teams. A team co-captain as a junior, Harman earned first team all-state, US Lacrosse All-American, and Milton Midfielder of the Year honors. In 2010, she was named second team all-state after serving as an alternate on the All-Georgia squad as a freshman.
ESPN ranks Harman as a top 10 player in the southeast region and is rated at No. 89 in the nation in its 2011 top 100 player rankings.
Harman has been a member of XTEAM, an international lacrosse club created for girls from non-traditional lacrosse areas, since 2007. Also, currently serving as a coach for the 2014 class, she works under former All-American and World Cup competitor and club founder Crista Samaras.

Heather Marie Harman was born on September 27, 1993 in Flower Mound, Texas to parents John and Bridget Harman...Has two younger brothers, Shea and Camden...Plans to major in graphic design/architecture...Career aspirations are to "become a world renowned architect"...Hobbies include working as a waitress, attending zumba classes with friends, driving her Jeep Wrangler with the top down, and making s'mores...Selected Penn State because "I loved the spirit, pride, and energy of every student on campus. Hearing `WE ARE' being screamed out the window by students driving by is what really sold me."
