UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The #RV/25 Penn State Lady Lions (11-4, 1-2) look for their first conference home win when they host Michigan (13-3, 2-1) on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center. Thursday will be Dollar Dog Night at the BJC where fans can purchase hot dogs at all BJC concession stands for just $1. The game will be televised live on the Big Ten Network with Dave Eanet and Mary Murphy on the call.

LAST TIME OUT: Sophomore guard Maggie Lucas scored 28 of her career-high 33 points in the second half as the Lady Lions staged a comeback after falling behind by 23 points but came up just short to Michigan State, 75-65, Saturday. Lucas connected on a career-best seven three-pointers to go along with five rebounds, three assists and a steal. Zhaque Gray chipped in eight points, while Mia Nickson added seven points and eight rebounds. Junior center Nikki Greene notched five points, a team-best 11 rebounds and three steals.
SCOUTING MICHIGAN: The Wolverines are 13-3 overall and 2-1 in Big Ten play after posting an upset win over #8/11 Ohio State Saturday. Courtney Boylan paces a balanced attack for Michigan, averaging 13.7 points per game to go along with 4.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists. Rachel Sheffer is also averaging double figures with a 12.9 scoring average, while Kate Thompson chips in 9.1 points and a team-best 18 blocks off of the bench.
ALL-TIME VS. THE WOLVERINES: The Lady Lions are 26-9 all-time against Michigan, including a 13-2 record in home games. Penn State has won four of the last five meetings, including an 81-63 win in Ann Arbor last season. The Lady Lions are riding a eight-game home court winning streak against Michigan, dating back to Feb. 25, 2001, a 75-74 win for the Wolverines.
LAST TIME VS. UM: The Lady Lions used another balanced scoring attack and a solid defensive effort to claim an 81-63 win at Michigan on Feb. 3. Maggie Lucas led five Lady Lions in double figures with 23 points to go along with four rebounds and a steal. Alex Bentley tallied 11 points to go along with three rebounds and four assists, while Zhaque Gray chipped in 11 points and four assists.
LUCAS MATCHES HER NUMBER: Sophomore guard Maggie Lucas scored 28 points in the second half en route to a career-high 33 points in the loss to Michigan State Jan. 7. It was the first career 30-point game for the sharp-shooter and are the most points by a Penn State player since Tyra Grant had 33 points at Iowa on Feb. 1, 2009. It was also the first 30-point effort for a Lady Lion since Grant had 32 tallies versus the Hawkeyes in the Big Ten Tournament (3/5/10).
LUCAS EQUALS BJC 3S RECORD: With seven triples against Michigan State Jan. 7, including six in the second half, sophomore guard Maggie Lucas tied the BJC record for three-pointers in a game. She equals the mark set by Adrienne Squire (2/12/06), Kelly Mazzante (1/9/03) and Iowa's Kamille Wahlin (12/28/09). The seven triples tie Lucas' career mark, which she also set against Hartford in Mexico on Nov. 27, 2010.
NICKSON HITS 400 IN BLUE & WHITE: Redshirt junior Mia Nickson surpassed the 400-point mark for her Penn State career with seven tallies against the Spartans Jan. 7. She has 405 markers as a Lady Lions and 450 points for her career.

The Lady Lions hit the road for a pair of games at Nebraska (Jan. 15) and at Illinois (Jan. 19) before returning to the BJC to face Iowa on Sunday, Jan. 22. The Iowa game is a Subway Full Court 4-pack game and it's Kids Day where all kids that in 8th grade or younger will be admitted for FREE if they wear Lady Lion Basketball gear. Single game tickets, PNC Flex Books and Starting 5 ticket packages are available by calling 800-NITTANY. PNC Flex Books are $99 and give fans 12 vouchers, including one for the Coaches vs. Cancer game and one for the Pink Zone game, that can be redeemed for Nittany Lion and Lady Lion Basketball tickets in any combination. The Starting 5 Pack is $49 and features tickets to three games of the buyer's choice, a ticket for the Ohio State ESPN2 Big Monday game on Monday, Feb. 20 and a ticket for the Pink Zone game against Minnesota on Sunday, Feb. 26.
The 2012 WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State will take place on Sunday, Feb. 26 as the Lady Lions take on Minnesota in the Bryce Jordan Center. Last year, the Lady Lions donated nearly $200,000 for breast cancer causes. This year's fundraising efforts will benefit the Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition, the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, J.C.
