UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The No. 9 Penn State women's gymnastics team is back on the road in 2012 with a trip to Big Ten foe Minnesota. The Nittany Lions take on the Gophers on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. in Minnesota's Sports Pavilion.

The Series: Penn State vs. Minnesota
The Nittany Lions are 20-4 all-time versus the Gophers. Penn State last met Minnesota during the 2011 Big Ten Championship, which the Gophers hosted. Penn State finished second with a 196.375, while Minnesota placed fourth with a 195.325. The squads last met during the regular season in 2010 in a tri-meet with Alabama. Penn State finished second in the meet with a 196.025, while Minnesota took third with a 192.850.
What's Next?
The women's gymnastics team remains on the road for a trip to Iowa on Feb. 3. The Nittany Lions then head to N.C. State for a quad meet with George Washington and William & Mary on Feb. 11.
