UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Redshirt senior setter Edgardo Goas (San Juan, Puerto Rico) was named a Primetime Performer of the Week for men's volleyball. Goas was one of 16 honorees across 21 Division I sports.
The CollegeSports360 Primetime Performer awards program goes beyond raw stats or results, instead taking into account the quality of the opposition, contribution to team success and other situational factors, including all-around play, leadership, clutch efforts, adversity overcome, etc.
Goas guided the Nittany Lions to 3-1 victories against No.4 Stanford and No. 12 Pacific on the Ken and Dave Dunlap Invitational hosted by Ohio State on Feb. 27-28.
