UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The 10th-ranked Penn State women's gymnastics team is back at home for the second time this season on Saturday, Feb. 18. The Nittany Lions host SUNY-Brockport at 7 p.m. in Rec Hall. The Penn State men's gymnastics team will also be in action with Illinois.
Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 1-800-NITTANY or at the Rec Hall ticket office prior to the meet. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for youth and groups. Students with a valid student ID are free.
The Series: Penn State vs. SUNY-Brockport
This will be the first meeting between Penn State Nittany Lions and the Golden Eagles of Brockport.
Brockport Notes
The Golden Eagles are 5-7 this season. Brockort opened the season at home with a win against Ithaca. The Golden Eagles finished third in a quad meet at Sprinfield on Jan. 22 before securing a win against West Chester at home on Jan. 28. The Golden Eagles finished third in a Feb. 4 meet at Cornell and against in a meet at Penn on Feb. 10. Brockport scored a season-high 187.875 at Ursinus on Feb. 12 for second place in a tri-meet with Towson.
What's Next?
Penn State hits the road once again on Feb. 25 when the Nittany Lions travel to Ohio State. The Nittany Lion women will join the Penn State men's team in Columbus for a double dual with the Buckeyes. Action is set for 5 p.m. in St. John Arena.
