UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The 10th-ranked Penn State women's gymnastics team is scheduled to visit No. 11 Ohio State on Saturday, Feb. 25. Meet action is set for 4 p.m. in St. John Arena. The Nittany Lion men's team will also be visiting Columbus, competing against the Buckeye men's gymnastics team.
The Series: Penn State vs. Ohio State
Penn State leads the series with the 11th-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes, 43-17-1. The squads met twice last season, including on Feb. 26 in a double-dual with the Nittany Lion men's team at home in Rec Hall. The Nittany Lions earned a 196.375-195.900 victory. Penn State and the Buckeyes met a second time in the 2011 Big Ten Championships on March 19. Penn State finished second with a 196.375, while Ohio State took fifth with a 194.900.
What's Next?
Penn State returns home for the third time this season on March 2 to host Michigan and North Carolina in a tri-meet at Rec Hall. Action is set for 7 p.m.
