UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State men's volleyball team concluded its Fall Invitational with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-16) win against Russia State.
Sophomore Aaron Russell (Ellicott City, Md.) led all players with 12 kills and senior Tom Comfort (Orchard Park, N.Y.) had 10. Redshirt freshman setter Taylor Hammond (Mission Viejo, Calif.) dished out 40 assists and redshirt sophomore Connor Curry (Newport Beach, Calif.) had nine digs.
Penn State hit .347 against Russia State and held their opponent to a .062 hitting percentage. The Nittany Lions totaled 43 kills, seven aces, 26 digs and 2.5 total team blocks. Russia State recorded 18 kills, three aces, 13 digs and 5.0 team blocks.
