Penn State saw its five-game winning streak come to an end last week, but will look to get back on track when it travels to Purdue for a 3:30 p.m. kick on ESPNU. The Nittany Lions fell to No. 9 Ohio State, 35-23, on Saturday evening and Purdue is coming off of a 44-28 loss at Minnesota last week.
The NIttany Lions are playing at Ross-Ade Stadium for the first time since 2008. The teams began playing annually in 2011 as Big Ten Leaders Division rivals.
Matt McGloin continued to climb the career passing charts with two more passing touchdowns versus the Buckeyes to move his career total to 38. His career-high 327 passing yards marked the fourth time in his career he hit the 300-yard mark, tying him with Kerry Collins for the most in school history.
Allen Robinson broke the school record for catches in a single season by a sophomore, hauling in five passes versus OSU to push his season total to 52. He sits just 11 grabs away from the single season school record held by O.J. McDuffie (1992) and Bobby Engram (1995).
