The Nittany Lions (4-2-0), who are in the midst of a three-game win streak, have outscored their opponents by a 14-5 margin and have trailed for only 32 seconds during their recent stretch. Fifteen players have recorded at least one point, while freshmen Casey Bailey (Anchorage, Alaska/2g, 3a) and David Glen (Fort Saskatchewan, Alta./1g, 4a) have paced the team with five points each in their last three games.

Sophomore goaltender PJ Musico (Orange, Calif.) has been the goalie of record in each of those contests, earning a 3-0-0 record with a 1.67 goals-against average and .947 save percentage. The Orange, Calif., native stopped all 34 shots against Army Oct. 26 to secure Penn State's first NCAA shutout.

Hockey East member Vermont is currently 0-1-2 and compiled a 0-1-1 record against Merrimack last weekend. Junior defenseman Nick Bruneteau (1g, 1a), freshman forward Jonathan Turk (1g, 1a) and sophomore forward Kyle Reynolds (2a) lead the squad with two points each.

The contest between the Nittany Lions and Catamounts will mark the first NCAA Division I hockey game at the facility.
