No. 1 Women's Volleyball Takes on No. 16 Seed Kentucky at Regionals

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The No. 1 seed Penn State women's volleyball team (31-2) advanced to the 2012 NCAA Regional Semifinals with a 3-0 sweep of Bowling Green on Saturday, Dec. 1. The Nittany Lions travel to West Lafayette, Ind. to take on No. 16 seed Kentucky (22-10) at 5 p.m. in Purdue's Mackey Arena. Purdue faces No. 8 seed Minnesota at 7 p.m. The winners of both matches play on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 4 p.m.

Friday's matches will be streamed live on ESPN3.com, while Saturday's match will be broadcast on ESPNU. Fans can listen to the matches on GoPSUsports.com nationwide and on WRSC in State College and surrounding areas.

Penn State improved to 76-26 in NCAA Tournament matches. The Nittany Lions are making their 10th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Regional Semifinals. Penn State owns a 5-1 record against the Wildcats.
