UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - Fans can secure their season tickets for the 2013-14 Penn State Lady Lion basketball season now. Returning season ticket holders can submit a $25 deposit to renew their season tickets for the upcoming season, while fans interested in securing season tickets for next year can put down a $50 deposit.
Fans that put their deposit down by April 1 will receive an invitation to the second annual "Cookout with Coquese," a cookout with Coach Washington and the Lady Lions. The $25 deposit for current season ticket holders and the $50 refundable deposit for new season ticket holders will be put towards the balance owned.
Fans can go to the Penn State Athletic Ticket Office to make their deposit or they can call 1-800-NITTANY. The second Annual "Cookout with Coquese" will take place in during the summer (June or July). Following the April 1 deadline, invitations for the cookout will be sent to 2013-14 season ticket holders.
Season ticket holders for the 2013-14 season will receive a variety of benefits, including reserving the same seat, an invitation to two pregame receptions, an invitation to an open practice, a season ticket holder gift and free parking for each and every 2013-14 Lady Lion home game.
Penn State won the Big Ten regular-season title with a 25-5 overall record and 14-2 mark in conference play. The Lady Lions are awaiting their NCAA Tournament fate until the bracket is announced on Selection Monday on March 18 at 7 p.m. on ESPN. The first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament will take place March 23-26 at predetermined sites.
