UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - A pair of Nittany Lions received conference recognition as senior defender Katie Guy (Whitby, Ont.) was tabbed ALC Defensive Player of the Week and freshman midfielder Jenna Mosketti (Fallston, Md.) was named ALC Rookie of the Week.

A Whitby, Ont., native, Guy collected six ground balls, four draw controls and five caused turnovers in two games last week. Against then-No. 14/16 Cornell, the senior collected two ground balls, two draw controls and a caused turnover before registering four caused turnovers, four ground balls and two draw controls in a 20-14 victory against league rival Vanderbilt.

Against Vanderbilt, Mosketti produced career highs in points (4), ground balls (4), draw controls (3) and caused turnovers (3), while her three goals tied her season-best performance. For the season, the midfielder ranks second on the team in ground balls (13) and caused turnovers (9) and third in points (17) and goals (14).
