UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State softball's weekend series at Michigan State has been cancelled due to cold weather and snowy conditions in East Lansing, Mich. The games may be rescheduled for a later date in the season.
The Nittany Lions continue their 2013 schedule with a home-opening series against Michigan March 29-31. The teams begin the three-game set with a 6 p.m. showdown Friday before meeting at 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday at Beard Field at Nittany Lion Softball Park.
Season ticket packages for all 14 home games are on sale now. Both ticket packages include general admission seating for each home game for the price of nine contests. The adult selection costs $45 while the youth package for ages 12 and under is $27. Tickets may be purchased by calling 1-800-NITTANY or visiting the Athletic Ticket Office Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Single-game admission will cost $5 at the Nittany Lion Softball Park ticket office while Penn State students will be able to watch Nittany Lion games free of charge with a student ID. Group pricing remains at $3 per person for groups of 15 or more.
