UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Four Penn State men's golfers were selected to the Division I PING All-Northeast Regional Team, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America. The honorees included senior Anthony DeGol (Hollidaysburg, Pa.); sophomores Xander McDonald-Smith (Rockaway Park, N.Y.) and Jens Talbert (Little Rock, Ark.); and freshman Chris Houston (Gilford, N.H.). 155 players across six regions - Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Central, and West - were awarded all-region honors for 2013.
DeGol continued to lead the Nittany Lions in his final season with Penn State. He competed in 27 rounds during the fall 2012 and spring 2013 seasons, averaging a 75 on the year with a low round of 69.
