DeGol Named Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State men's golfer Anthony DeGol (Hollidaysburg, Pa.) has been named a Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar, announced today by the GCAA.

In order to qualify to be a Cleveland Golf/Srixon Scholar, a student must be a junior or senior, play at least three full years at the collegiate level, and participate in half of his team's competitive rounds. In addition, the individual must have a stroke-average under 76.0 in Division I, followed by 78.0 in Division II, 77.0 in NAIA, and 79.0 in Division III. Lastly, the athlete must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.

A total of 152 players in Division I, 57 in Division II, and 18 in NAIA earned the honor, while 21 Division III honorees had been previously released. Recipients of this honor must be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
