"I thought they did a great job today by having the second lowest round in the field today," said head coach Denise St. Pierre. "To have one of the best rounds of the fall was nice to end on that note." When discussing the upcoming months off, St. Pierre said, "We will send the off season staying in shape looking at our stats and determining where we will spend most of our focus."

UC Davis won the tournament by shooting a third round 284 to give them 868 strokes, 16 strokes better than second place Illinois. Betty Chen of UC Davis won the individual tournament as she finished at three strokes under par, two shots better than Carmen Laguna of Minnesota.

As the fall season comes to a close, the Nittany Lions will be practicing during the winter months and will be back in action on February 17 for the Central District Invitational. Looking back on the season, the Nittany Lions recorded three top ten finishes highlighted by their third place finish in the Nittany Lion Invitational. Individually, Penn State had five top ten finishes by three different golfers, highlighted by Ceresko's third place finish in the Nittany Lion Invitational.
