SERIES: This will mark the 29th meeting between Penn State and Ohio State, with the Buckeyes owning a 15-13 edge in the series.The two teams first met in 1912, a 37-0 win for PSU, and have faced off every season since the NIttany Lions joined the Big Ten in 1993. Penn State meets its oldest Big Ten rival when it travels to Columbus to take on Ohio State for the 29th time overall and 21st time as conference foes. The Nittany Lions are 4-2 overall after a four overtime win over then No. 18 Michigan on Oct. 12 in the longest game in the Big Ten's 118-year gridiron history. No. 4/4 Ohio State enters the clash at 7-0 after topping Iowa, 34-24, last weekend at home. The Buckeyes' 19-game winning streak is the nation's longest.

Penn State and Ohio State first met in 1912 and played eight times before the Nittany Lions joined the Big Ten, with Penn State winning six of those eight meetings. The teams began meeting annuallyt in 1993 and will continue to do so as East Division rivals starting in 2014.

Penn State true freshman quarterback Christian Hackenberg has completed 132 of 226 passes for 1,672 yards, with 11 touchdowns and six interceptions. A three-time Big Ten Freshman of the Week honoree, Hackenberg's trio of 300-yard passing games are tied with Daryll Clark for third-most in a career in school history.

Bill Belton rushed for 85 yards, 50 after the third quarter, against the Wolverines and scored the game winning touchdown from two-yards out in the fourth overtime. Brandon Felder tied his career-best with six catches for 97 yards and hauled in a career-best two touchdown grabs against Michigan.

Hackenberg leads the Big Ten in completions (132) and passing yards (278.7 ypg) and is fourth in total offense. Robinson leads the Big Ten and is 10th in the NCAA receptions (7.2 rpg), and is second in receiving yards per game (117.5), which is 17th nationally. DT DaQuan Jones leads the Big Ten with 8.5 tackles for loss.

Ohio State leads the Big Ten in scoring offense (45.0 ppg) behind quarterback Braxton Miller's 831 passing and 335 rushing yards. Miller has thrown for eight scores, while running backs Carlos Hyde and Jordan Hill have each run for 400 yards and at least five scores.
