UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - It was all fun in the sun for the Lady Lions over Thanksgiving break as they flew south to Freeport, Bahamas, and won the Junkanoo Jam in convincing fashion by beating Illinois State, 72-60, in the championship game.

That being said, Coquese Washington's squad has safely returned to Happy Valley and is prepared to take on the undefeated Notre Dame tonight at 7:30 p.m.

No. 11/10 Penn State has compiled a 3-1 home record this season - with their only loss to No. 1 Connecticut - and will look to keep that trend going as they host the No. 4/5 Fighting Irish. The Blue and White own an all-time record of 5-0 against the Irish, including a 2-0 mark at home.

The last meeting between these two teams took place back on Nov. 16, 2006, in the friendly confines of the Bryce Jordan Center. The Lady Lions handled Notre Dame that night, earning a 75-49 victory thanks in large part to a 15-2 run to start the game.

Interestingly enough, however, during the lopsided loss back in 2006, Washington was on the Notre Dame coaching staff as the programs associate head coach under current head coach Muffet McGraw. Just five months after that loss, she accepted the head coaching position at Penn State.
