Pegula Ice Arena Community Day Flyer | Parking Information
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Although the Nittany Lion hockey teams will not return home until January, fans and community members can spend the holidays and enjoy free skating at the home of Penn State Hockey during Pegula Ice Arena Community Day Saturday, Dec. 21.
The festivities will commence with a USA Hockey Learn to Skate Clinic from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. for kids ages 10 and under. Equipment will be provided for all participants. Following the clinic, a free public session with free skate rentals will take place from 1-3 p.m.
Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to win prizes and receive giveaways, while there will be appearances from special guests.
All visitors are asked to enter the arena through Gate C. Patrons are advised to park in the East Parking Deck or the Orange-F or Orange-C lots near Holuba Hall, the Tennis Center and the old Greenberg Ice Pavilion. Parking in these areas will be free of charge.
Patrons coming from the Orange lots will need to access the sidewalk to Pegula Ice Arena from the west side of the Tennis Center as the gate between Holuba Hall and the Tennis Center is locked for the winter.
