UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State women's basketball team continues their homestand on Sunday, Dec. 22 with an 11 a.m. contest vs. Alcorn State. The Lady Lions (7-3) enter the weekend ranked No. 17 in the AP Poll and No. 18 in the USA Today Coaches Poll and will host the Lady Braves (1-8), who enter the contest after a 63-50 loss at Louisiana-Lafayette on Thursday evening.

Penn State will meet the Lady Braves for the first time in program history and own a 4-0 record against teams in the current alignment of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). Penn State has defeated Alabama A&M, Jackson State and twice toppled Prairie View A&M.
