UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - After finishing a tough non-conference schedule that featured three ranked opponents with a strong 9-3 record, No. 17/15 Penn State (9-3, 0-0) will head to Iowa City to open Big Ten play against No. 23/22 (12-3, 0-1) Iowa Sunday at 3 p.m.
Iowa has entered the Associated Press and USA Today top 25 polls, but is coming off an 86-84 loss in its conference opener at Indiana on Jan. 2. Penn State will return to action for the first time since its 70-56 win over Hartford on Dec. 29.
