UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Big Ten Network is scheduled to feature a trio of Penn State related programming on Monday, Jan. 13 starting with the Nittany Lions' home men's hockey program against No.1 Minnesota at 7:30 p.m.

The Penn State men's hockey team hosts a Big Ten series for the first time in program history this weekend with the top-ranked Gophers coming to Happy Valley. The Nittany Lions and Minnesota face off at 7 p.m. on Sunday before being featured on BTN on Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Following the hockey game, the Big Ten Network will air "University Showcase: Hockey Valley: The Opening of the Pegula Ice Arena" at 10 p.m. The show is a 60-minute documentary that features exclusive content from inside Pegula Ice Arena, as well as interviews with head men's hockey coach Guy Gadowsky and members of the Nittany Lion hockey team.

The network will cap off its Monday night programming with "BTN LiveB1G: Penn State," which will make its debut at 11 p.m. The episode will highlight the world of parasites and the creation of "zombie ants," a phenomenon that has wreaked havoc on the ant population. The program will also showcase the success of the University's Ability Athletics program, which encourages students with physical challenges, including Wounded Warriors, to participate in recreational and competitive athletics.
