UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State women's basketball team clamped down on defense last week and claimed a pair of victories to move into a tie for first place in the Big Ten. Tonight, the Lady Lions (13-4, 4-1) will host Indiana (15-3, 2-3) at the Bryce Jordan Center in a 7 p.m. contest.

Penn State can take sole possession of first place in the Big Ten, if just for one night, as they are the only Wednesday night tip. They enter the contest with the Hoosiers in a three-way tie for first with Michigan and Michigan State. The Hoosier are still alive in the conference race, as well, sitting at 2-3, just a win away from moving into a tie for fifth.
