UNIVERISTY PARK, Pa.- As the hope and anticipation of the spring season drew full circle, mother nature quickly took that away and forced Penn State to wait a couple of more weeks to compete again. All of the snowstorms that has hit central Pennsylvania over the last couple of days forced the Nittany Lions to have to cancel their spot in the Central District Invitational. This means that the girls have to wait an extra three and a half weeks until they can officially open their spring season.
Looking ahead, the Nittany Lions are next scheduled to compete in the Sun Trust Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Florida. Penn State closes out the regular season with the Big Ten Championship in French Lick, Indiana from April 25-27.
