2014 NCAA Tournament First & Second Round Tickets | Vote for Maggie Lucas!
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - Lady Lion senior guard Maggie Lucas (Narberth, Pa.) has been selected as a semifinalist for the Naismith Trophy presented by AT&T. The senior is among 10 players in the running for National Player of the Year. The four finalists will be announced on March 21. Lucas is the only player from the Big Ten Conference on the list.
Lucas has added to her stellar career with an outstanding senior season. She averages 21.6 points, which is second in the Big Ten and 15th nationally, with 4.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.8 steals per game. Lucas leads the NCAA in free throw percentage with a sizzling 96.4% from the charity stripe, which is just off pace to break the NCAA single-season record held by PSU's Adrienne Squire (96.4%). The was the Jan. 28 Big Ten Player of the Week and is a five-time Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll selection.
For her career, Lucas is second in Penn State history and fourth in Big Ten history with 2,422 points. She is second in Big Ten and program history with 355 career three-pointers and needs just three triples to break Kelly Mazzante's Big Ten and Penn State record in the category. Lucas is currently 12th in NCAA history in three-pointers made. She also ranks 10th in PSU history in steals (225), 16th in assists (274) and 29th in rebounds (515). Lucas is the only player in school history and just the sixth player in the Big Ten to accumulate 2,000 points, 500 rebounds, 250 assists and 200 steals. For her career, Lucas has connected on 90.7% of her shots from the from the free throw line, which leads the Big Ten and is seventh in the NCAA record books.

The Lady Lions close out the regular season with Senior Day and Alumni Day against Michigan on Saturday, March 1 at 3:30 p.m. There will be a pregame ceremony to honor the four-member senior class. Penn State Alumni Association members can show their card and get a $5 ticket. It's also a Subway Full Court 4-Pack game.
Lady Lion Basketball single-game tickets are available by calling 1-800-NITTANY. Single-game tickets are $15 and $12 for adults and seniors and $9 and $7 for youth (12 and younger). The PNC Flex Books are available again this year for $99. The Flex Book gives fans 12 vouchers, 10 that can be redeemed in any combination for Nittany Lion and Lady Lion Basketball tickets throughout the year and two extra vouchers for the Nittany Lions' Coaches Vs. Cancer game and the Lady Lions' Pink Zone game.
For the 15th time, Penn State will host the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament First and Second Rounds on March 23 and 25, 2014. All-session tickets are $30 for adults and $17 for youth and students. There is also an all-session group rate for groups of 20 or more of any age at $20 per package. Fans can purchase tickets by calling 1-800-NITTANY or visiting the Penn State athletics ticket office between the hours of 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
