WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -
The Penn State men's golf team will continue its spring season at the three-day Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate March 23-25 in Williamsburg, Va. on the River Course at Kingsmill.
The Nittany Lions will face their largest field of the season, competing against Appalachian State, Binghamton, Boston College, Bucknell, Dayton, Delaware, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Fairleigh Dickinson, George Mason, Georgetown, IPFW, James Madison, Longwood, Loyola (Ill.), Loyola (Md.), Miami (Ohio), Radford, Rutgers, St. Joseph's, Temple, Texas Tech, Towson, UNC Greensboro, William & Mary, Wright State.
The River Course at Kingsmill has hosted numerous events on the PGA and LPGA tour over the last 40 years. Teams will face the par-70, 6,765-yard course when they tee off starting at 8 a.m. on Monday followed by a second wave of tee times at 12:30 p.m.
Penn State will compete with juniors Jens Talbert (Little Rock, Ark.) and Xander McDonald-Smith (Little Rock, Ark.), sophomores JD Dornes (Lancaster, Pa.) and Chris Houston (Gilford, N.H.), and freshman Christian Elliott (Port Perry, Ontario).
