SENIORS COLLECT WIN #100: The senior class of Talia East, Ariel Edwards and Maggie Lucas claimed their 100th career win with the victory over Wichita State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, which is tied for second in school history. The Class of 1994 leads with a 103-18 record. The Lady Lion seniors account for 74.7% of Penn State's points (1,690 of 2,263) this season and 46.5% of PSU's rebounds (620 of 1,334).

NCAA TOURNAMENT NUGGETS: Penn State is 2-1 all-time against the #11 seed with wins over DePaul (1992 - second round; 77-54) and Dayton (2011 - first round; 75-66) and a loss to TCU (2001 - first round; 77-75) ... EDWARDS JOINS 1,000-POINT CLUB: Senior guard/forward Ariel Edwards became the 36th member of Penn State's 1,000-point club with a 17-point performance against Wichita State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. She is the fourth Lady Lion in her four-year career to reach the 1,000-point plateau, joining Maggie Lucas, Alex Bentley and Nikki Greene. In the last five games, Edwards is averaging a team-best 21.2 points and 5.8 rebounds with a 51.9% shooting percentage.

SCOUTING #11 SEED FLORIDA: The Gators are 19-12 overall with an 8-8 mark in SEC play and collect their 14th NCAA Tournament bid. Penn State last faced an SEC foe when they posted a 66-58 win over Texas A&M in the Bryce Jordan Center on Dec. 15, 2013.

LAST TIME VS. UF: Five Lady Lions scored in double figures, but it was not enough as Florida defeated Penn State by a final of 92-79 on Dec. 3, 2000. Lisa Shepherd led the Blue and White in scoring with 25 points. The senior was an impressive 12-for-13 from the free throw line in the performance. The Lady Lions posted two double-doubles in the contest, as Maren Walseth had 13 points and 10 rebounds and Courtney Upshaw ended the game with 10 points and a team-high 12 boards.
