UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Julian Moore, a freshman forward on the Penn State men's basketball team, received a medical hardship waiver for the 2013-14 season and will have four seasons of eligibility remaining.
Moore played in seven games for the Nittany Lions, producing eight total points. He had a career-high four in the win over Longwood Nov. 19, 2013, and added a personal-best six boards vs. the Lancers.
The Fort Washington, Pa., native broke his nose prior to the Dec. 14, 2013, Princeton game and was unable to compete for the remainder of the season because of various complications stemming from the injury.
In the offseason, the 6-foot-10 Moore has added nearly 20 pounds of muscle to his frame and has worked tirelessly in the gym and weight room throughout the summer.
