UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics has announced upgraded accommodations for ADA parking and shuttle services for Saturday's game against Massachusetts. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. for the Band Day contest.
An additional 237 ADA parking opportunities will be available closer to Beaver Stadium. The following information will help those season ticket and single-game ticket holders who will use these areas.
Additionally, Innovation Park remains a viable option for fans attending Saturday's game that have yellow parking passes.
• Upgraded shuttle vehicles with enhanced accessibility for fans with ADA needs.
• An increase of 10 ADA-accessible vehicles for the shuttle service to and from Innovation Park, for a total of 26 dedicated shuttle vehicles, 18 of which are fully ADA-accessible.
• Shuttle buses will be staged along Curtin Road immediately adjacent to the stadium between Gates A and B for service to Innovation Park after the game.
• Six shuttle lines will run to and from Beaver Stadium serving areas of Innovation Park, RV lots, Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, East Parking Deck, Nittany Lion Softball Park, Wagner Building, Pegula Ice Arena and the Bryce Jordan Center. At least 36 vehicles will be used for the entire ADA shuttle operation, 30 are fully accessible.
• Dedicated and exclusive ADA parking adjacent to Wagner Building (51 spots) for vehicles able to arrive 2½ hours before the game and depart 2 hours following the game with a shuttle. (The pre- and post-game time restrictions are due to pedestrian traffic on Curtin Road.)
• An additional 41 spots for a total of 129 spots near the Nittany Lion Softball Park.
• An additional 25 new spots at Pegula Ice Arena on University Drive.
• Special permits have been distributed by the Nittany Lion Club to access the Wagner, Nittany Lion Softball Park and Pegula Ice Arena locations.
• An additional 120 spots in the East Parking Deck available on a first come-first served basis.
