UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -Penn State students have an opportunity to attend the Nittany Lions' Big Ten East Division clash at Michigan on Saturday, Oct. 11. Students who want to attend the primetime contest can purchase a ticket at Gate B (northeast corner) of the Bryce Jordan Center beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 6.
The Penn State-Michigan game will kick at 7 p.m. and air on ESPN2, the Penn State Sports Network and GoPSUsports.com. The Nittany Lions have earned on-field victories in the last four meetings with the Wolverines. The teams will be playing in Ann Arbor for the first time since 2009 and will meet annually starting this year as division rivals.
A limited number of student tickets will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis for the contest at Michigan Stadium. Each student will be permitted to purchase a $95 ticket and must present a valid Penn State ID+ Card to secure a ticket. Sales of all tickets will be done on a cash only basis. Credit cards and checks will not be accepted.
Students wishing to purchase tickets so that they may sit together at the Michigan game will need to make their ticket purchase together at Gate B of the BJC on Monday morning. Students may arrive at the Jordan Center at 6 a.m. on Monday for the sale. If student tickets remain after 8 a.m. on Monday, the sale will move from Gate B to the Athletic Ticket Office inside the BJC. Student tickets will not be available after 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 8.
Penn State students will have an opportunity to purchase tickets for every away game the Monday prior to each contest this season.
Coach James Franklin's Nittany Lions (4-1, 1-1) have a bye this week, while Michigan visits Rutgers on Saturday night.
More than 6,000 new Penn State football season tickets, 1,200 partial season tickets and 72,000 single game and group sale tickets have been sold this season. Nittany Lion home football attendance is up an average of 7,110 for the first three games of this season compared to the initial three games in 2013.

Tickets are available for Penn State's final three home games of the season: Nov. 1 vs. Maryland (All-University Day and THON Day); Nov. 15 vs. Temple (Military Appreciation Day/Seats For Soldiers) and the Nov. 29 Senior Day clash with Michigan State. The kick times for all three games are to be determined.
For gameday sales, the Beaver Stadium ticket office near Gate E opens four hours before every game.
