Lady Lion Basketball Single Game Tickets on Sale Thursday

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - Single-game tickets for the three-time defending Big Ten Champion Penn State Lady Lions will go on sale Thursday, Oct. 16 beginning at 10 a.m. Basketball single-game tickets are available by calling 1-800-NITTANY or by visiting the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office, GoPSUsports.com/tickets or Ticketmaster.

For the first time, variable pricing will be available for all games with three pricing groups. Variable pricing determines individual game prices from many factors including weekday vs. weekend games, conference vs. non-conference contests, and will provide more pricing choices for Penn State fans this season. Seat location is also a factor in the per-game price. Group and youth rates are available. Interested groups should call 1-800-NITTANY to place their order.

The Lady Lions also have three doubleheaders this season with the Nittany Lions, which are all $5 general admission tickets. A complete chart of variable pricing designations is below.

The Lady Lions will have 18 home games in the 2014-15 season, beginning with an exhibition game against Indiana (Pa.) on Sun., Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. Penn State officially opens the 2014-15 campaign against Towson on Friday, Nov. 14 at noon for a school day/businesspersons special.

Variable Pricing Designations

Season tickets and mini-plans are available by calling 1-800-NITTANY. Adult season tickets are $105, youth season tickets are $52 and courtside season tickets are $247. Additionally, the Family Season Ticket package, which features two adult tickets and two youth tickets in the family section in section 114L, is $210. There is a $15 handling fee per order on season tickets.

The PNC Flex Books are $120 and give fans 12 vouchers, 10 that can be redeemed in any combination for Nittany Lion and Lady Lion Basketball tickets throughout the year and two extra vouchers for the Nittany Lions' Coaches Vs. Cancer game and the Lady Lions' Pink Zone game.

The Lady Lions also have a pair of mini-plans available this season with the B1G Deal and the Five for the 50th plans. The B1G Deal is a mini-plan that includes the nine Big Ten Conference home games. Tickets for the B1G Deal are $90 for adult sideline, $63 for youth sideline, $63 for adult baseline and $45 for youth baseline tickets. To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Women's Athletics at Penn State, there is a Five for the 50th mini-plan. The plan features a ticket to the following games: South Florida (12/21), Illinois (1/4), Rutgers (1/10), Michigan State (2/11) and Ohio State (2/26). The package is $50 in honor of the 50th anniversary.

Parking for Penn State Basketball games will be $5 per game.

  • Toys for Tots - Bring a new, unwrapped toy and receive a $5 ticket (day of game only).
  • Lion's List - Penn State will donate a ticket for all students (8th grade and younger) who stand out at your school for positive achievements based on your teacher's specifications.

Sunday, Dec. 14 - Rider (2:30 p.m.)

  • Doubleheader with the men's basketball team (vs. George Washington at noon).
  • $5 General admission ticket

Sunday, Dec. 21 - USF (2 p.m.)

  • Subway Full Court 4 Pack - Four tickets, one voucher for four 6" subs and four 21 oz. fountain drinks at any of the seven State College Subway locations for just $40.

Sunday, Jan. 4 - Illinois (2 p.m.)

The Lady Lions will be hosting the Second Annual Lady Lion Community Carnival on Sunday, Oct. 19 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the Bryce Jordan Center. The carnival is absolutely free and will provide entertainment for kids of all ages. Fans will have their chance to dunk their favorite Lady Lions in a dunk tank as part of the activities. Doors will open at 3 p.m. Attendees should park in the parking lot adjacent to the Bryce Jordan Center (commuter Lot 44) and enter through Gate B of the BJC.
