Students Can Purchase Indiana Football Tickets Monday

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State students have an opportunity to attend the Nittany Lions' Big Ten East Division clash at Indiana on Saturday, Nov. 8. Students who want to attend the primetime contest can purchase a ticket at Gate B (northeast corner) of the Bryce Jordan Center beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 3.

The Penn State-Indiana game will kick at 12 p.m. and air on BTN, the Penn State Sports Network (10:30 a.m. airtime) and GoPSUsports.com.

A limited number of student tickets will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis for the contest at Memorial Stadium. Each student will be permitted to purchase a $50 ticket and must present a valid Penn State ID+ Card to secure a ticket. Sales of all tickets will be done on a cash only basis. Credit cards and checks will not be accepted.

Students wishing to purchase tickets so that they may sit together at the Indiana game will need to make their ticket purchase together at Gate B of the BJC on Monday morning. Students may arrive at the Jordan Center at 6 a.m. on Monday for the sale. Penn State and Indiana will be meeting for the 18th time, have played every season since 2007 and will continue to play annually as East Division rivals. The Nittany Lions own a 16-1 on-field mark vs. Indiana, with the Hoosiers earning their first win in the series last year in Bloomington. Three of the last four series games in Memorial Stadium have been decided by six points or less: 22-18 (2004), 36-31 (2007) and 16-10 (2011).

If student tickets for the Indiana game remain after 8 a.m. on Monday, the sale will move from Gate B to the Athletic Ticket Office inside the BJC. Student tickets will not be available after 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 5.

Penn State students have an opportunity to purchase tickets for every away game the Monday prior to each contest this season. Coach James Franklin's Nittany Lions host Maryland on Saturday at 12 p.m. for the first meeting since 1993, while Indiana visits Michigan this week before hosting Penn State.

Penn State students can purchase up to two $40 tickets for the Maryland game with their ID at the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office on Friday or at the Beaver Stadium ticket office Saturday from 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

More than 6,000 new Penn State football season tickets, 1,200 partial season tickets and 78,000 single game and group sale tickets have been sold this season. Nittany Lion home football attendance is up an average of 5,336 for the first four games of this season, to an average of 101,829, compared to the initial four games in 2013.

Ticket purchases and information are available at PSUnrivaled.com, by calling 1-800-NITTANY (weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.) or visiting the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office (weekdays, 10 a.m-6 p.m.). The Beaver Stadium Ticket Office, near Gate E, opens four hours before all home games.

Pre-paid single game parking passes for the general parking lots ($10) are also available at www.GoPSUsports.com/tickets or the Bryce Jordan Center Ticket Office prior to all home games.
