Senior Bill Belton (Sicklerville, N.J.) has been named this week's Iron Workers Local Union No. 3 "Ironman of the Game" for his unrivaled performance in last week's 13-10 win over Indiana.
The Sicklerville, N.K., native tallied a season-high 137 yards on 16 carries in Saturday's contest marking his fourth career 100-yard effort. His 92-yard run tied the longest play from scrimmage in program history. He is the only player in Penn State's history to score from that distance.
Belton tallies five touchdowns, 417 yards in 99 carries this season.
This week's Ironman was named to the Doak Walker watch list in July.
