UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -

Co-captain safety Adrian Amos (Baltimore, Md.) has been named this week's Iron Workers Local Union No. 3 "Ironman of the Game" for his performance in the 30-13 win over Temple.

A member of the nationally ranked defense, Amos tallied three tackles including one TFL and one interception in the win that made Penn State eligible for its 45th all-time bowl game. His third quarter interception led to a Penn State touchdown.

The Baltimore native has tallied 28 tackles (20 solo, 8 assisted), three interceptions, and two TFLs this season.

Amos accepted an invitation to play in the 66th Senior Bowl, which will take place on Jan. 24, 2015.
