UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Mike Hull (Canonsburg, Pa.) has been named this week's Iron Workers Local Union No. 3 `Ironman of the Game' for his performance at Illinois on Saturday. Hull, A key to the Nittany Lion defense, recorded 10 tackles (7 solo, 3 assist) in last Saturday's contest.

Hull totals 121 tackles (66 solo, 55 assist) on the season including nine TFL and one interception. He has led Penn State in tackles in 10 of 11 games this season.

The co-captain is No. 2 on the Big Ten leaderboards and is No. 9 nationally with 11 tackles per game.

He's made 275 career tackles, moving him into the No. 7 spot in Penn State history.

The Canonsburg, Pa. native accepted an invitation to play in the 66th Senior Bowl that will take place on January 24, 2015.
