Student New Era Pinstripe Bowl Ticket Sale Set for Saturday

Dec. 11, 2014 UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; December 11, 2014 - Student tickets for Penn State's appearance in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl will be available via a walk-up sale at the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office on Saturday, Dec. 13 starting at 9 a.m. Students can begin lining up for the sale at 8 a.m.

Coach James Franklin's Nittany Lions will face Boston College on Saturday, Dec. 27 at 4:30 p.m. in Yankee Stadium. The clash will air on ESPN, the Penn State Sports Network and GoPSUsports.com. Penn State and the Eagles will be playing for the first time since 2004 and the 24th time overall. The Nittany Lions will be making their 45th bowl appearance.

Student tickets for the New Era Pinstripe Bowl are $55 each and the student sale will run on Saturday until either the supply is exhausted or until 12 p.m., whichever comes first. Student Nittany Lion Club members will receive priority for ticket purchase and location.

There will be a two (2) ticket limit per valid student ID and tickets can be purchased with cash or a credit card. Students wishing to sit together must purchase their tickets at the same time.

If student tickets remain after Saturday's sale, any remaining tickets will be available for purchase at the Athletic Ticket Office beginning Monday, Dec. 15 through Friday, Dec. 17 from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. ET.

Assistant Athletic Director Jeff Garner reported that Penn State has secured nearly 4,000 additional tickets from the New Era Pinstripe Bowl this week to accommodate the more than 11,000 ticket requests received from Nittany Lion Club and Alumni Association members. The Nittany Lions' initial ticket allotment was 7,692 for the game. New Era Pinstripe Bowl tickets will be allocated based on NLC point totals.

Pinstripe Bowl tickets are available via the travel packages for the Official Penn State Bowl Tour, which can be purchased at www.PennStateSportsTours.com. Packages are available both with and without tickets for the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. Tickets for the game can be purchased, and information on all the related events can be found at www.pinstripebowl.com.

Penn State season ticket renewals and Nittany Lion Club membership renewals also are underway for the 2015 campaign. The ticket invoice and Nittany Lion Club renewal deadline is Feb. 1, 2015. There will not be any increase in the price of Penn State football season tickets or Nittany Lion Club donation levels for next season.
